Thank you for visiting us online! We are a family owned business now in our eighth season, and we have appreciated your business and support of our store in Fenwick Island, as well as our online retail shop. Below, you will find answers to Frequently Asked Questions.
Why do we have a minimum order of $10.00?
We value your business, however; we keep our prices low for the average consumer. There are fees associated with credit card purchases and to ensure our fees can be kept low, we ask that the minimum order is $10.00.
What are suncatchers made of?
Our suncatchers are made with high quality metal frames, and filled with sturdy epoxy in a rainbow of colors. All pieces are hand painted, and we often have several color choices available for a particular style. Our suncatchers are so durable, that in our store we’ll sometimes drop one on the floor to demonstrate to a customer just how sturdy they are! With these window decorations you won’t have to worry about hanging them with children and pets around.
What size are the suncatchers?
Most of our suncatchers are approximately 4” by 4”. Those are measurements for a circular size suncatcher, such as the Military styles. However, many are either slightly more in one direction, for example the chili pepper suncatcher is approximately 6” by 3”. We always use the 4”by 4” size as a standard guide, as only a few of our suncatchers would be any smaller than that.
How to I hang my suncatchers in the window?
We provide you with a large suction cup (included with every suncatcher), that adheres to glass windows very tightly. In addition, to enjoy the suncatchers in other areas of your home, you can also hang them from mirrors and doors with glass panes. If you prefer to hang them, you can simply use a length of ribbon instead of a suction cup.
Can you make me a certain kind of suncatcher?
We have produced many custom pieces-our local lighthouses, pet photo frames, and special pieces for fundraisers and businesses. However, we do not produce or do special colors on less than 576 pieces of any style. To see more information on our Custom Suncatchers, click here.
How does a suncatcher Night Light work?
Our suncatcher night lights are designed to use with most of our suncatcher designs, and are interchangeable. On the front of the night light assembly is a small clip that allows you to just slide in the suncatcher you would like to use. For secure packing, we ship the night light wrapped separately, then once you receive them simply snap the suncatcher into the clip and plug in. All night lights use a standard 4 watt bulb.
Can I place an order and have it shipped for a gift?
Certainly. Make sure you request shipping to another address when ordering, or note your request in the comments section of the shopping cart. If paying by credit card, the charge will appear on your credit card as Sweets ‘N’ Treats.
Shipping Methods:
We generally ship smaller packages via USPS first class mail, and heavier items such as large Taffy order by UPS. However, we may ship via either service to ensure the fastest and safest method for your order.
